We’re now planning our next research reports and we’d like your input.
We’re already committed to two reports (see below) and would like to choose two more from the options list. Feedback very welcome.
Decision-making market. As a follow-on from our work on personal information management services (PIMS), we look at the broad scope of suppliers in this market and chart what benefits consumers get from making better decisions.
Options for early 2012 –
The Personal Data Store (PDS) market. How viable are the start-ups; our (financial) analysis of Personal, Singly, Qiy, Paoga, Mydex and any others. Are they ready to work with enterprises now, or, if not, when?
The data giants. What do Amazon, Google, Facebook, Tesco, Experian, Equifax and Callcredit etc have to do to become ready to hand personal data back to customers. And what can other companies learn from this? The output is likely to be a data inventory schema so businesses can work out what they need to do next.
ID assurance market. As the web gets more and more complex, the role of identity assurance becomes more and more critical. The UK government is looking to develop its own schemes based on what the private sector can provide. So who is there, what do they offer and what are might any new service providers offer?
Any other ideas would be welcome – not least because we’ll soon be thinking about the next reports after these!
