Liz combines vision married with evidence and market knowledge, business strategy and operational implementation and the ability to bring together strong teams to deliver extraordinary results.

Alan has spent the last 20 years researching, writing about and commenting on consumer, market and marketing trends: as editor of Marketing magazine, as marketing correspondent for The Times, as a contributor to the Financial Times and columnist for Marketing Week and Brand Strategy.

In 1997 he wrote the Financial Times report Brand Strategies in the Information Age. In 2001 he wrote Right Side Up and 2005 The New Bottom Line, which introduced and fleshed out the concept of ‘buyer-centric commerce’. He founded the Buyer Centric Commerce Forum with Liz Brandt in 2005.

Alan serves on the steering committee of Harvard Law School Berkman Center for Internet and Society ‘Project VRM’ and on the editorial boards of The Journal of Brand Management and The Journal of Direct, Digital and Database Marketing. He is a founder of the Mydex Community Interest Company with William Heath and Iain Henderson.

David is an experienced leader of consulting and technology services businesses - both public and private. Strongly customer and sales focused, David has experience in building start-up enterprises into successful consulting brands - his previous business, Charteris Ltd, growing to become one of the top 40 management consulting businesses in the UK. David also has extensive corporate experience including in business performance transformation, strategy development and delivery, and proposition design. As a Director of global IT services firm Logica he led the growth of some of its largest operating units.

David’s passion is in helping businesses deliver their real potential, particularly through customer and sales-led growth strategies. Over his career he has worked with a wide variety of technology-based solutions and consulting businesses.  These have ranged from start-ups to enterprise scale businesses. He is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the British Computer Society.

He has ten years business and innovation consulting experience gained from Deloitte and BT, having delivered a wide range of projects for both public and private sector clients.

With insight into how technology is empowering individuals to connect, share and learn, and a particular focus on personal data and information management, Jamie brings both strategy and delivery experience in how organisations can react to the opportunities and challenges emerging from the digital economy.

Jamie holds a first class Masters degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of York.

Before joining Ctrl-Shift in 2013 Ian spent five years working at Telefonica in the UK leading their Agile Transformation and most recently Enterprise Architecture Team. Ian combines a unique mix of Technical Experience and know-how, alongside strong communication and Business Consultancy skills and is at the forefront of speaking and delivering agility into large organisations.

Ian brings a deep experience and enthusiasm on how to organise and work in large organisations, how to deliver large complex, multi-million euro projects and how to have fun whilst doing it.

Ian also travels and preaches on Social Change, and is the UK Chair of Forever Care Homes, a Ugandan charity helping protect orphans who have lost parents through AIDS.
